Manage Private Wealth

Jamie is the Head of our Private Client Department with overall responsibility for the management of the team and its development, alongside holding account director responsibilities for a wide range of client mandates. Jamie is also CEO of Sarasin Asset Management, our subsidiary company specialising in US clients.  Jamie joined the City in 1987 and spent several years at NCL Investments prior to joining Sarasin & Partners in 1996. Jamie has a MA Hons in Modern Languages from Cambridge University, PCIAM (the Private Client Investment Advice and Management certificate), IMC (Investment Management Certificate) and is a Stock Exchange Registered Representative.

Edward is responsible for the management of multiple private client, trust and charity portfolios and also heads Sarasin & Partners' AIM inheritance tax-sheltered portfolio service. Edward has over 30 years of investment management experience, starting his career as a graduate trainee at Capel-Cure Myers in 1993, before joining Sarasin in 1996.

Edward has a MA Hons degree in Management and International Relations from the University of St Andrews and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments (CISI).

He is chair of the British Humane Association, a governor of both Oundle School and the City & Guilds of London Art School and a warden of the Grocers’ Company.

Henrietta is responsible for the management of UK and international portfolios.

Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners in June 2020, she worked at a family office in London. Henrietta graduated with a BA in History and Politics from the University of Birmingham. Henrietta holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC), the CII Level 1 Diploma in Financial Planning and the Level 7 Chartered Wealth management qualification.

Randal has over 30 years of investment experience and joined Sarasin & Partners in 1998 where he manages some of the firm's largest private client and charity portfolios.

Prior to Sarasin & Partners, Randal was at NCL Investments Limited. He graduated from Worcester College, Oxford in 1989 with an MA Hons in Modern History. He is also PCIAM (the Private Client Investment Advice and Management Certificate) and Investment Management Certificate (IMC) qualified.

Randal is Chairman of the London Partners.

Mark is responsible for managing UK and international private clients, multi-generational wealth, and charities. He managed the Sarasin Global Equity Real Return for 8 years and is now the Fund Strategist. Mark has over 30 years of investment experience.

Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners as a Partner in 2007, Mark spent 10 years at Barings, 5 years at Credit Suisse, acting as Chairman of the Asset Allocation Committee, and initially 6 years at Cazenove.

Mark is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI. He holds an MBA Hons degree in Finance & Investment from Cape Town University and a BA Hons degree in Russian from Exeter University.

James is responsible for managing UK and international private clients, multi-generational wealth, and charities for over 25 years.

James joined Sarasin & Partners in 2004, having previously spent five years as an investment manager at HSBC.

James holds the Private Client Investment, Advice and Management qualification (PCIAM with merit) from the Securities Institute.  He has a BA in Geography from Newcastle University.

Graeme is responsible for the management of portfolios for a variety of international and UK clients. Graeme also manages the Thematic Global Equity strategy for clients of Bank J Safra Sarasin.

Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners in 2013, Graeme was with Brown Shipley Private Banking, where he managed private client, charity and institutional portfolios.

Graeme completed his MBA at Bayes Business School, which he holds alongside the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) Diploma and a BA Honours degree from the University of Sheffield. Graeme is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI.

Ben is responsible for managing portfolios on behalf of UK private clients and Professional Intermediaries.

Prior to joining Sarasin in January 2019, Ben was a Director at Tilney, where he worked with private clients as well as sitting on the Asset Allocation and Fund Selection committees.  Ben attended University College London and has a First-Class Honours degree in History & Philosophy of Sciences.

Ben has passed the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI) Masters in Wealth Management, Private Client Investment Advice & Management qualification (PCIAM) and CFA Level 1. Ben is also a Chartered Fellow of the CISI.

Duncan is responsible for the management of a wide range of UK domestic private client and charity portfolios.

Duncan joined Sarasin & Partners in 2012 from GAM London Ltd where he worked as a portfolio director for 10 years. Duncan started his career in 2000 at Dresdner RCM Global Investors and has 24 years of investment experience.

Duncan attended Newcastle University and has a BSc Hons. degree in Agricultural Economics. He is also PCIAM (the Private Client Investment Advice and Management Certificate), Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and Securities and Futures Authority (SFA) qualified.

Lucinda has been managing private client, private pensions, and charity portfolios for over 35 years.

Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners in 2003, Lucinda spent 18 years with HSBC Investment Management, formerly James Capel & Co, where she was a senior director on the management team. Lucinda started in the city with Quilter Goodison, having spent two years training as a Land Agent, specialising in Agricultural Investment.

Lucinda is a graduate of Edinburgh University with a degree in Agriculture.

Allanah is responsible for the management of UK and international private client portfolios. Prior to joining Sarasin in 2018, Allanah graduated with an MSc in Investment and Wealth Management from Imperial College Business School and previously a BSc in Chemistry from The University of Bristol.

Allanah holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) PCIAM (Private Client Investment Advice and Management certificate) and has passed all 3 levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams.

James is responsible for the management of portfolios for a variety of UK and international private clients and charities.

Prior to joining Sarasin in 2017, James spent 18 months working for Bank Leumi as an Assistant Relationship Manager on the Investment Advisory Desk.

James graduated with a BA Hons in Russian from the University of Bristol. He holds the Investment Advice Diploma, and the Level 6 Private Client Investment Advice and Management certificate (PCIAM). James has also obtained the Level 7 CISI Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification.

Harveer manages portfolios for a variety of UK and international clients and charities. Harveer also manages the Sarasin Thematic Global Equity strategy for clients of Bank J Safra Sarasin.

Prior to joining Sarasin, Harveer spent 10 years in the industry looking after private client and international portfolios; joining Rathbones in 2012 following their acquisition of Taylor Young Investment Management. Harveer graduated with a BSc Hons in Economics from the University of York.

He holds the Investment Advice Diploma (IAD), the Level 6 Private Client Investment Advice and Management certificate (PCIAM), and the Level 7 CISI Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification. Harveer is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI.

Marcus is responsible for the management of portfolios for a variety of UK and international private clients and charities.

Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners, he spent four years at Barclays Private Bank, managing private clients.

Marcus graduated with a BA Hons in Business Management from Newcastle University. He holds the Private Client Investment Advice and Management (PCIAM), Investment Management Certificate (IMC), and has passed all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams.

Stephen has over 25 years’ finance industry experience, having held senior client facing and management roles in both asset management and banking.

Stephen is a member of the Sarasin & Partners Executive Strategic Committee, a Non-Executive Director of Bank J Safra Sarasin Guernsey Branch, and is responsible for key strategic relationships, having joined the firm in 2019 as Head of Business Development for the Private Client division.

Stephen was previously Head of Private Merchant Banking at Edmond de Rothschild, Head of Private Wealth Management at Kleinwort Benson and Head of Business Development at Schroders Private Banking, having begun his investment career at Mercury Asset Management.  He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and has an MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford.

Sophie’s main focus is managing and developing relationships with potential clients, as well as a range of professional advisers who represent wealthy individuals and families with a requirement for discretionary investment management services. She is also responsible for matching UK and international, including US, clients with the right investment team.

Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners in January 2012, Sophie spent 4 years with a Corporate Finance boutique in Mayfair.

Sophie holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and the Private Client Investment Advice and Management (PCIAM) qualification.

Ed is responsible for the management of the Model Portfolio Services and the Managed Fund range at Sarasin & Partners.

Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners in November 2023, Ed was an Investment Manager at Quilter Cheviot, managing portfolios on behalf of private clients, trusts and charities and their professional advisers. He also sat on Quilter Cheviot’s Fixed Income Committee determining their model fixed income allocations.

Edward graduated with a BA Hons in History from the University of Bristol. He holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC), CISI Masters in Wealth Management and has passed all 3 levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams.

Nick is responsible for the management of UK and international private client portfolios, on behalf of both Sarasin & Partners, as well as Sarasin Asset Management, a subsidiary of Sarasin & Partners, which solely manages portfolios for US investors.

Nick has a BA Hons degree in Languages for Business (German) from Oxford Brookes University and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (FCISI).

Tom is responsible for the management of portfolios for a variety of UK and international private clients and charities, including a number of the firm's larger client portfolios. Tom is a member of the firm’s Investment Strategy Group.

Tom has a BSc in Economics and Finance from the University of Bristol. He holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and Private Client Advice and Management (PCIAM) from the Securities Institute.
